Our story
from one travel lover to another
We have taken over 250 women on trips spanning the globe from swimming with Humpback Whales in French Polynesia to backpacking in the Alaskan wilderness, but before long, we knew where our hearts belonged: Africa.
BMTM Adventures was created to help make your travel dreams a reality. We have painstakingly crafted the best trips we can think of – ones we’re happy to go on ourselves again and again.
I’m Kristin, company founder and travel enthusiast who has traveled solo to 65 countries, 12 of which were in Southern and Eastern Africa.
I got my start as a travel blogger, launching Be My Travel Muse in 2012, which became one of the world’s most-read women’s travel blogs.
I’ve trekked with Mountain Gorillas, hitchhiked in Mozambique, climbed Africa’s tallest dune, and have been to nearly all of Southern Africa’s most famous national parks. After 4 nomadic years of solo travel, I knew I wanted to invite my audience to join, and launched my first all-female group adventures in 2016, and the rest has been history!
